Lots of small businesses use third party payment apps like Square or PayPal. But these don't connect easily to your online bookkeeping software. A simple software, like Waveapps (Wave), has limited functionality. But that doesn't mean you have to take shortcuts and can't have clean bookkeeping like larger companies. It's important to separate out the fees these payment apps charge from the true revenue you earned for your products or services. Give yourself all the credit!
